We've hosted our open day and it was amazing! We had loads of people all keen to see what 4th Gosport Scouting is all about and it wasn't just young people signing up!
There were a variety of activities to try out while we chatted about what we can offer. We made bird feeders, morse code bracelets, woolly god's eyes, marshmallow and cocktail stick pioneering, tiny catapults and even a full sized pioneering catapult. Two of our Scouts, Charlie and Rebecca also led an activity; examining owl pellets to see what they had eaten. The activity was under the direction of Charlie as part of their YouShape award.
Our Open Day may be over, but that doesn't mean we've closed our doors to new members. If you're interested in signing up a young person, or yourself as a volunteer, drop us a line on the contact page and we'll get back in touch!
