Yesterday's meeting went well, especially as we had lots of new friends joining us! It was so exciting! The day kicked off with the Squirrels and Beavers welcoming six new members! River and Florence in the Squirrels and Mason, Leander, Evan and Hugh in the Beavers. They spent their meeting working on one of the staged badges: Emergency Aid. We've hosted our open day and it was amazing! We had loads of people all keen to see what 4th Gosport Scouting is all about and it wasn't just young people signing up! There were a variety of activities to try out while we chatted about what we can offer. We made bird feeders, morse code bracelets, woolly god's eyes, marshmallow and cocktail stick pioneering, tiny catapults and even a full sized pioneering catapult.
