Fort Brockhurst: English Heritage site and our new home!

The last few months for us have been a bit tricky. Sadly, we had to leave our home at the church and moved into the Gosport District Scout HQ temporarily from around October half term.

It was a difficult time for us. We lost some members due to the move, friends who we miss. But there is a silver lining, hope on the horizon.

A lovely lady from the Fort, Jo, got in touch with us about the possibility of us meeting there. She's a member of their staff and explained all the Fort could offer us. How could we resist?

So, as of 17th January 2026, we'll be meeting at Fort Brockhurst. This meeting will be for existing members and we'll be holding an open day on 24th January 2026 for anyone who wants to come along.

As well as the Fort hosting our meetings twice a month (which will be longer to make up for less meeting days), we have a plethora of exciting opportunities available to us, including being able to have camps within the grounds!
